Type locality: Antigua. Restricted to St. John’s, St. John Parish, Antigua, by Lazell (1972). Syntypes: BMNH 1946.8.29.12-13. White and Hailey (2006) give a detailed account of this lizard from Trinidad. It is known from Anguilla, Antigua, Barbuda, St. Martin, St. Eustatius, St. Christopher, Nevis, St. Lucia, and was discovered in Trinidad in 1992.
